Our Story
The Story Behind Ezi Reach Australia
Ezi Reach Australia was established in 2009 and has been proudly designing and manufacturing sliding cargo trays for utes ever since. The idea came about when we bought a dual-cab ute and realised how frustrating it was to reach gear inside the tub. Everything slid to the front, and we were constantly climbing in to retrieve it.
So we built a solution: a simple, pallet-style platform that could be manually pulled to the end of the tailgate. It was basic- but it worked. And from that early prototype, the first Ezi Reach Cargo Tray was born.
After years of refining the design, testing it in real-world conditions, and listening to feedback from ute owners across Australia, we launched our first range of aluminium and steel slide-out trays. Today, the Ezi Reach lineup includes a patented design in various sizes, side boxes, tie downs, and our signature Safety Locking System- all designed to make ute storage safer, easier, and smarter.
We’re still innovating, improving, and expanding our range. But one thing hasn’t changed: our mission to help Australians access their ute gear without the strain, struggle, or crawling into the tub.
